Elyse Umemoto: Miss Washington Scandal (Photos)
Elyse Umemoto has been caught in a scandal on film. The 23-year-old Miss Washington 2007 has been photographed flipping off the camera and simulating oral sex with gang signs while wearing her pageant crown. Part Native American, Japanese, German, and Hispanic, she was the second runner-up in the 2008 Miss America pageant, which makes the photos a shocking departure from the virtues supposedly embodied by Miss America contestants.
After growing up on an Indian reservation, Elyse Umemoto went on to study at Pacific Lutheran University before joining the beauty contestant world. For Miss America, she ran on a platform focusing on socio-economic, diversity, and gender issues. Contestants in Miss America compete for educational scholarships, receiving $45 million in scholarships every year.
In the photos, Elyse Umemoto is caught in unscripted moments, and the field director of the Miss Washington Pageant in damage control mode says, "Elyse Umemoto is an outstanding young woman and has been a brilliant representative for the Miss Washington Scholarship Organization. We continue to be very proud of her. She is known for her raucous sense of humor and clowning around. It is unfortunate that her behavior in unguarded moments has attracted attention."

Alicia Marie is the latest woman to claim a relationship with Alex Rodriguez. The 30-year-old fitness supermodel claims nothing happened when A-Rod visited her Chelsea apartment during a difficult time when she was undergoing a divorce, insisting that "I am certainly not one of Alex's attention-seeking strippers." But the Catholic brunette has a history of dating baseball players, recently ending a relationship with the infamous John Rocker.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Connecticut with a degree in neuroscience, Alicia Marie went on to a long modeling career, appearing in magazines like "Glamour", "Oxygen", "Fitness", and "Muscle & Fitness." She has gone on to host HBO's "Chat Zone" and has an ongoing MTV series called "SuperMADE." Featuring a body measuring 34-24-35, she has also appeared in print advertising for Eggbeaters, Jergens Firming Body Lotion, and Curel Body Lotion among others.

Julie Donaldson Attacked by Boyfriend (Photos)
Beauty and the Beast
Julie Donaldson has accused Ivan Lattimore of beating her. The 32-year-old blonde, blue-eyed former Miss Florida USA winner had been dating the professional Slamball player since November 2007 and been beaten four times since then. The interval between beatings was only because he lived in California and had to commute to visit her. Her 6 foot 4 inch, 215 pound boyfriend first bruised her arms at the Super Bowl in Arizona. The second time, Lattimore grabbed her hair and forced her to punch herself.
Finally, Julie Donaldson had enough after the latest incident, which took place the night of her birthday, when Lattimore threw her five feet against a wall. After locking herself in the bathroom, the brutal boyfriend kicked in the door and punched her twice. He also bit her left cheek. Luckily, the assault occurred during a party, and one of the other guests called the police. After he was arrested, he even had the nerve to call Donaldson 47 times on her cellphone.
Born in Ponte Vedra, Florida, Julie Donaldson graduated from the University of Florida and went on the participate in several beauty pageants. After being crowned Miss Florida USA 2000, the beauty queen went on to compete in the Miss USA 2001 contest, but didn't place. For a career change, she went into the sportscasting business, working as an anchor for SportsNet in New York before leaving to report for WHDH-TV in Boston.

Candice Houlihan had a two-night affair with Alex Rodriguez in 2004. The 32-year-old former Centerfolds stripper caught A-Rod's attention at a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, and they later went to his room at the Ritz Carlton for a one-night stand. It didn't take much to persuade the current hairdresser despite A-Rod's wedding ring: "It was killing me and I felt bad afterwards. I’m not a bad person. I know how it feels to be cheated on, it sucks. But a couple of drinks later, I didn’t notice all that much, to tell you the truth."
Later, Candice Houlihan met A-Rod again after he called her when he was in Boston for the American League Championship Series, but this time she wasn't allowed to stay the night. The five-year veteran at the infamous Centerfolds Gentleman's Club wasn't the only stripper to catch A-Rod's eye though. He was caught in 2007 having dinner with Joslyn Noel Morse, a 30-year-old exotic dancer at Scores in Las Vegas.
In retrospect, Candice Houlihan's tryst with A-Rod foreshadows his current divorce with Cynthia Scurtis Rodriguez. His latest affair may even involve Madonna, who is being accused of having an affair of heart with him. In fact, the divorce trial is specifically based on A-Rod's emotional abandonment of his family.

Java Installation Error Solution: "Error applying transforms"
Recently, I needed to upgrade Java on my computer so it would run the latest software programs, but when I tried to install Java, I received an error message that said: "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."
The solution that worked for me to the "transform path" Java error is as follows:
1. First, uninstall the current Java runtime that you have.
2. Next, download the offline version of Java. Try to install it, but if it still doesn't work, move on to the next step.
3. Navigate to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Sun\Java\jre1.6.0_06
where User is whatever username that you chose for your computer and jre1.6.0_06 is the name of the Java version that you want to install (currently version 1.6).
4. You should see a Windows Installer Package file (.msi) in the folder, Just double-click on the installer to install Java with no problems.

Bridget Nisivoccia is the latest woman to be linked to Peter Cook. The 36-year-old interior designer will apparently be brought up as part of Cook's divorce trial with supermodel Christie Brinkley. Although she is not being linked romantically with Cook, she was involved professionally with him, being responsible for designing his $1.375 million, four bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom house in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The principal of Bridget Nosivoccia Design claims, "We have mutual clients and share a professional relationship and a respected friendship" when asked about her relationship with Cook. Nevertheless, the connection is suspicious in light of Cook's trysts with his teenaged assistant Diana Bianchi and the married fitness model Carri Lyn Ciamarra.
