Natalie Dylan Virgin Auction Photos
Natalie Dylan is selling her virginity online. Intriguingly, the 22-year-old San Diego woman, who already holds a B.S. in women's studies, plans to finance her graduate school education in marriage and family therapy from the proceeds of the virginity auction. To prove her chastity, she will undergo a gynecological exam as well as a lie detector test.
Surprisingly, Natalie Dylan is entering into a not uncommon online marketplace. For instance, in 2007, 18-year-old Carys Copestake tried to sell her virginity for £10,000. In 2004, 18-year-old Rosie Reid, a lesbian student at Bristol University, auctioned hers off for £8,400. Oddly, British women are very over-represented although there are many other cases in other countries, including men who have sold their services online. Asked about her decision and doubters, Dylan replied, "We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn't I be allowed to capitalize on my virginity?"
To consummate the deal, Natalie Dylan will meet the winner at the infamous Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel, which is holding the auction, in Nevada where her sister works. She is apparently looking for a $1 million dollar bid, which may be highly optimistic given the prices that past auctions have closed at, but the amount of press she is getting, including an appearance with Howard Stearn, won't hurt.

Sarah Palin Action Figures
Sarah Palin has gotten an action figure. The 44-year-old Alaska governor has built up a devoted following since she was announced as John McCain's running mate, and a company called HeroBuilders has decided to cash in on it. The Connecticut-based doll design company not only offers Palin figures, but also Obama, Spitzer, and McCain action figures all priced at $27.95.
The Sarah Palin dolls come in three styles: a black business suit action figure, a scantily-clad schoolgirl design, and a "superhero" figure complete with trench coat and gun holster. Each doll stands 12 inches high.

Victoria Beckham is making waves with a new haircut. The 34-year-old former Spice Girl and mother of three debuted her short, spiky hairdo at the Marc Jacobs Show in New York City during Fashion Week, stealing the spotlight from Jennifer Lopez who was sitting next to her.
After marrying soccer star David Beckham, Victoria Beckham mainly appeared in the fashion world, designing a line of jeans with Rock & Republic as well as a line of sunglasses dubbed dvb Eyewear. Last year, she caused a stir by appearing in a photo shoot wearing odd headgear and posing inside a giant Marc Jacobs bag.
Although her main interest is in fashion nowadays, Victoria Beckham, the former Posh Spice, reunited with the other Spice Girls for a comeback tour that visited five countries and brought each girl a $20 million payday.
