Not Too Late to Vote in Democratic Presidential Primary
Super Tuesday may be behind us, but you can still make your voice heard in the Democratic presidential primary even if you missed it because you're abroad (like I am currently).
Democrats Abroad is an official branch of the Democratic party so it can let citizens vote from abroad either in-person or over the Internet. Unfortunately, Republicans Abroad is unofficial so it can't do this.
It looks like the deadline to register to vote online has passed, but you can still vote in-person at Voting Centers (list in PDF) in 34 countries around the world from February 5 to 12. Just show up with your passport and proof of residency to participate in the 2008 Global Presidential Primary. For instance, if you're in Nice, France, you can cast your vote at Hotel West-End on February 8.
However, if you vote in the global primary, you can't cast an additional vote in your home state's primary.
Your vote will decide how the 22 delegates (with 11 votes total) of the global primary vote this August at the Democratic Convention.

Songerize: For the Lazy Music Leech
As if listening to music online without paying for it weren't easy enough, here comes Songerize, which makes the "playable search engine", Seeqpod, even easier to use. They like to think of themselves as the missing "I'm Feeling Lucky" button for Seeqpod.
Just enter a song title and artist name, click "Play", and start listening without any extra clicking. The first song result that Seeqpod brings up automatically starts playing. Enough said.

Listen to Your Friend's Music Library for Free
What if your media player came pre-installed with all the songs you like?
While Reble Media Player doesn't quite go that far, you and your friends probably share similar musical tastes, and Reble lets you listen to the songs stored on your friends' computers as much as you like.
This can vastly increase your music collection without any effort at all. All you need to do is to install Reble (and somehow convince your friends to install it too) and exchange usernames to begin sharing songs. It's a clever viral strategy to grow the number of users, but ultimately, the question is whether Reble is legal (they don't seem to be paying royalties).
There are a couple limitations, however. A particular song can only be streamed to one computer at a time, and you can't download it to your computer. You also need at least Java 6 installed.
