More on the AOL Privacy Leak

We now know that the researcher who was fired was named Abdur Chowdhury. He worked at AOL in the research division and was an affiliate at the Information Retrieval Laboratory at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has hired a lawyer, and a colleague claims that all the appropriate executives at AOL approved the release of the search queries. So it looks like blame has been passed down the corporate ladder while the executives (except Ms. Govern) who approved the release still hold their cushy jobs.
