Tom Cruise Loses BlackBerry
Tom Cruise misplaced his BlackBerry. The "Valkyrie" star was doing an interview in Toronto with Entertainment Tonight in Canada, but lost it sometime in between the many rounds of movie interviews he was doing. His assistants conducted searches in TV studios citywide, but didn't turn it up the device.
With the phone numbers of friends like Brad Pitt, Will Smith, and David Beckham along with emails and text messages, Tom Cruise's BlackBerry is a valuable piece of equipment. BlackBerrys are a popular choice among celebrities. Among famous users are Heroes' Hayden Panettiere, Natalie Portman, and Zac Efron.
How to Locate a Lost BlackBerry
If your BlackBerry has GPS built-in, then you may be able to send an email to it and have it reply back with its location. Tracking software can help with this.
To disable the phone, you can contact your cell phone provider and give them the IMEI number of your BlackBerry which will deactivate it even if the SIM card is changed.
