Search 4Shared for TV Shows, Music, and eBooks
Many large file hosting sites like Rapidshare and Megaupload don’t let you directly search through the public files that users have uploaded although there are ways to work around these restrictions.
Taking a different tack, 4Shared encourages file sharing among users. You get 1GB of storage space for your videos, music, and other files when you sign up, and you can easily search the large collection of files that other users have uploaded. Advanced search options let you search by file type (MPG, AVI, LIT, JPG, etc.), file size, name, and file description.
A cursory search revealed hundreds of copyrighted ebooks, music, and even episodes of Heroes freely available for anyone to download.
Don’t feel like searching for anything in particular? If you prefer to browse, files have also been divided into four categories: music, video, photos, and books.
