Watching Videos on YouTube, Web 2.0 Style
YouTube Fast Search takes YouTube and adds some Ajax magic to make it easy to search for and save videos. The user interface is almost too spartan: there's just a search box, a grid of video thumbnails, and a favorites box. It's definitely aimed at the no-nonsense video watcher.
Clicking on a video thumbnail will bring up the video in a lightbox that overlays the web page, which eliminates needless back-and-forth clicking. To save videos for later viewing, you can drag-and-drop them into the favorites box.
The enterprising 21 year old student behind this site also created the popular WordPress Theme Generator, which makes it fast and easy for bloggers without any programming knowledge to create their own custom theme.
