Disable Autoplay of YouTube Videos in Firefox

It can be very handy to open multiple YouTube videos in separate tabs so that they all load simultaneously, but the downside is that they tend to all start playing at the same time.

So YouTube addicts will appreciate TubeStop, a Firefox extension that disables autoplay of YouTube videos. It also works with embedded videos on third-party sites such as MySpace and Blogger.

You may also want to check out some other extensions created by the prolific Chris Finke: Links Like This, which lets you open multiple links with one click, and ScribeFire, the blog editor formerly known as Performancing for Firefox.
