Google Loves You: Gmail Now Open to Public
It didn't take long for Gmail's primetime debut to spread from Europe and Africa to America and Asia. That's right: as a Valentine's Day gesture, Google has made Gmail sign-ups available to all and sundry without any pesky mobile phone requirements or invites.
Now the downside: will this mean a rapid increase in spam from the gmail.com domain?
