Want a Free Song from Apple iTunes? Go to Starbucks

starbucks saved my lifeAs if you needed another reason to go to Starbucks (it can save your life), now you can get free songs from Apple Inc.'s iTunes store just by stepping in the door. From October 2 to November 7, 2007, you can go to any of more than 10,000 US Starbucks stores and try to snag a free "Song of the Day" card that you can redeem online.

More than 50 million songs from artists like Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan are expected to be given away.

This is meant to promote a partnership between Apple and Starbucks where iPhone and iPod Touch owners will be able to get free Wi-Fi at Starbucks and download songs that are playing in the Starbucks shop directly to their portable gadget.
