The Windows Aero glass effect is probably the coolest development in Windows Vista, adding a spiffy transparency effect to windows. But, previously, the only way to get a Vista-esque Aero glass effect in XP was to purchase Stardock WindowBlinds.
Thankfully, you can now get the Aero effect with blurring by installing the free FastAero. Combined with the newly released Vista Transformation Pack 7, you can now get a much richer and more realistic looking Vista clone even though you're really using XP.
