On-Demand Publishing: Print Out Your Blog as a Book

Blog2Print is a new service that lets bloggers and their readers get printed books of their favorite blogs on-demand.

If you're a blogger, you can sign up for an account and add the Blog2Print widget to your blog so your readers can get hard- or soft-cover copies of their favorite posts. For example, a 20-page hardcover costs $24.95 with each 2 additional pages priced at $1.

What's your cut? You get a 20% revenue share for all the hard work you've put into writing posts, which works out to about $5 a book.

Right now, only Google's Blogger platform is supported, but support for other platforms is coming soon.

Blog2Print sounds like an example of vanity publishing gone mad, but unlike some predatory vanity presses, you don't need to put any money down to get started. It's definitely an interesting idea to consider, especially for bloggers who blog about more timeless subjects.
