Look like you're being Productive to your Boss with PaNIC

PaNIC is a handy way to keep yourself from being fired for surfing the web while on the job. It's a Firefox extension that kills all the tabs in Firefox and replaces them with a Google search for "increased workplace productivity". All you need to do is hit the Alt key and the tick ' symbol next to the 1 on your keyboard. Of course, you can go into the options menu and change the address to something else

The other tried-and-true alternative is to quickly hit Alt-Tab and switch to another browser window you thoughtfully set to something workplace friendly.
