Sharon Malone: Eric Holder's Wife
Sharon Malone is the wife of Eric Holder, the future first African-American Attorney General. She is an obstetrician in Washington, D.C., but she grew up in Alabama. Since 1992, the Harvard University graduate has been in private practice with Foxhall OB/GYN.
Before deciding on a career in gynecology and obstetrics, Sharon Malone worked for IBM as a systems engineer. She later graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with her medical degree.
On her personal side, Dr. Sharon Malone has three children with Eric Holder, a partner at the corporate law firm, Covington & Burling. She likes jazz, tennis, and Brazilian music. Since June, many have speculated that her husband could be chosen as the next United States Attorney General. He was the senior legal advisor to the Obama campaign.
