New Star Trek Movie Trailer

The new Star Trek movie trailer was released in theaters with "Quantum of Solace" this weekend. Although the official Apple version of the trailer will only be released on Monday, a fan who watched the James Bond movie was able to capture the 2-minute video with a cameraphone.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, who created "Lost" and "Alias," the new Star Trek movie takes a different approach to the venerable science fiction series, telling the origin stories of the iconic characters James Kirk and Spock.

For now, the YouTube video is still working, but it's only a matter of time before it's taken down.
