Rapidshare Happy Hour: No CAPTCHAs and Waiting
RapidShare is infamous for having some of the strictest rules of all the free file hosting sites, but it recently launched its Happy Hour program, which lets you download as much as you want without having to complete any CAPTCHAs and without having to wait for a download ticket.
If you access RapidShare during Happy Hour, you will be greeted with the following message in green: "The RapidShare Happy Hours are active right now. Have fun!" Just click the download button to download your file without any hassle.
According to Wikipedia, the Rapidshare Happy Hours are between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (UTC+1). This translates to 3 p.m. to 9 a.m. Pacific Time Monday to Friday and 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This is a great headache-saver especially after RapidShare introduced its "dog-and-cat" CAPTCHA, which forces you to identify which letters or numbers have a cat printed beneath them (see an example below). Since the dog and cat pictures are rotated randomly, it helps if you have great spatial IQ skills.
