Search for File Downloads Online (AVI, MP3, RAR, ZIP)
FilesTube may not win any awards for brand innovation, but, on the plus side, it does help you find files fast online.
Unlike regular search engines, which search the whole web, this specialized search engine includes only those websites that let users upload and share files. Apparently, FilesTube is a genuine search engine and not simply a front for conducting easier Google searches (like, for instance, ShareMiner).
Search results are tailored to delivering the information you need to decide whether to download a file or not, displaying the file name, a brief description, and the size of the file. You can also rate the links you find and report broken links.
Although FilesTube is an ambitious name, it might be more appropriately called RapidshareTube because most of the links that it returns are for files stored on that popular file upload service. Diversifying the range of search results would be a welcome improvement.
