LikeVid is an online TV portal whose appearance and content attempts to transcend the standard, tepid selection of channels that most sites like it possess. You'll still find ubiquitous channels like BBC, Bloomberg, and QVC alongside dozens of local news and entertainment channels, but, refreshingly, LikeVid also corrals together the newest videos from sites like YouTube, iFilm, Veoh, and Metacafe.

The site design is also slicker than most. Those looking for purely family-friendly should be warned though: you'll also find NSFW, adult-only video channels hidden behind the upper-right tab.

On a software note, in contrast to some websites, LikeVid channels are likely to function only when you use Internet Explorer to view them. Most streaming TV channels will require Windows Media Player. Firefox users who don't want to use IE may need to install the IE Tab extension.
