Hulu: NBC and Fox Attempt to Topple YouTube
What do you name a $100 million investment to topple YouTube?
Hulu.
That's the name given to News Corp. and NBC's new joint venture into online video. From the looks of it, shows like 24, Bionic Woman, The Simpsons, and Family Guy will be making their legal online debut on Hulu along with other professionally produced content.
The site is set to beta in October 2007 and is collecting email addresses for its invite list in the meantime.
