Rapidshared.org: A Rapidshare Search Engine and Directory
We've mentioned a Rapidshare search engine before called ShareMiner that also happened to search about 10 other file hosting services. Rapidshared.org is a little different. Not only can you search Rapidshare and Oxedion, a German file hosting service I only just discovered, but you can also browse through a convenient directory of links found on those two sites. Links are indexed or uploaded to the site unlike at ShareMiner where Google powered the search.
The links are broken down into categories like Video, Games, and Music. Unsurprisingly, category XXX has twice as many links as Software and Music. While Rapidshared, or link.io as it's also called, can be used to search Megaupload, Boost.am, and Netload.in, links to these sites don't seem to be indexed in the directory.
Within categories, links can be browsed alphabetically, by popularity, or by freshness.
