Download of the Day: Temp Cleaner

Temp Cleaner is a small program that scans your computer for temp and garbage files. It'll take some time to run, but it does root out a lot of junk on your hard drive. You'll want to take a look at the list of ZIP files it uncovers since it'll often flag files you want to keep as being junk.

This program is slightly different from CCleaner, which only removes temp files in select directories. CCleaner is superior in that you can remove a lot of personal information from your computer like recently accessed files and browser histories in addition to temp files. The last scan I did uncovered 2 GB of files that could be safely delected. Awesome.
