Be a DJ with Microsoft's Zune

Microsoft's iPod killer Zune has a DJ mode where you can broadcast whatever music you're listening to. You can also share photos. It uses 802.11b or 802.11g to allow four different devices to connect up. First, though, Microsoft has to jump the regulatory hurdle and make filings so it can sell a device with wireless connections. This is being touted as allowing users to create mobile social networks, but the functionality will have to be greatly increased for that to happen. What if they put Skype and a microphone on it? Cell phone killer, anyone?
