Download Productivity App Omea Pro for Free

I'm normally a little skeptical of downloading a program that claims to make life easier by helping organize the files on my computer. Many times it ends up being more trouble than it's worth since these programs often have a steep learning curve, and you never know if the effort will pay off. Now that it's free, it doesn't hurt to check out Omea Pro, a productivity application that aggregates your emails, files, RSS feeds, IMs, and bookmarks into one easy interface.

The idea is to make it easier to find stuff and organize information on your computer. Depending on your needs, you can use all the features it comes with, or only specific pieces since Omea Pro is really a mashup of different applications for working with data. You can index files and folders on your computer, essentially replicating the functionality of Google Desktop, and you can also annotate files, categorize documents, and set rules for filtering your emails.

There are dozens of other things you can do with Omea, which you can walkthrough using the handy video tutorials. If you find that it doesn't suit your information management needs, at worst, Omea makes a serviceable newsgroup app and has a neat interface for working with RSS feeds.
