Download Any File from Any Site with File2HD
If you need to download something from a website, but don't have a clue how to do it, File2HD can help. Whether it's a YouTube video, MySpace MP3, or a cool style sheet that you want to use as "inspiration", File2HD will deliver it straight to your desktop.
Claiming to let you download any file from any site, File2HD works with just about any kind of audio, videos, applications, objects, images, style sheets, and links that are embedded on a webpage. Just enter a URL, select the type of file that you want to download, and File2HD will return a list of download links.
For instance, if you to download Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" from Imeem, you would paste in the Imeem webpage URL, select Audio as your filter, and hit Get Files. However, there are some quirks. Downloading Imeem MP3s only works in Firefox, and the download can take a while to get started once you click the download link.
File2HD also includes a handy FLV to MP3 file conversion utility which can convert Imeem FLVs to more easily playable MP3s.
